🦅 Almost Every Weekend – RSPB Adventures Across the UK

Most weekends you’ll find me at an RSPB reserve somewhere in the UK, capturing wildlife with my friends Beth, Babs, Ruth and the gang, practising new techniques and building future collections. From seabirds to woodland species, these trips are where a lot of my favourite images begin.

🚗Scotland Adventure

A much‑needed trip north to spend time with my dad and soak up some of Scotland’s most breathtaking wildlife locations. Plans include:

  • Handa Island – puffins, guillemots, razorbills and dramatic cliffs

  • Loch Lomond – peaceful landscapes and summer wildlife

  • The Cairngorms – red squirrels, crested tits and mountain scenery

Expect new prints, new stories and probably a few midgie bites.

🦅 (bird of prey energy) SMJ Falconry – Photography Workshop

First up, I’m heading to SMJ Falconry for a photography workshop kindly gifted to me by a lovely friend. I’ll be joined by my wingwoman, Beth the Bird Nerd, as we spend the day capturing some of SMJ’s absolutely stunning birds of prey. Expect feathers, chaos, and hopefully a few show‑stopping shots.

🌿 (nature + wildlife + calm) Bird Nerd Retreats – Sedgeford Hall Estate

In September, I’m off to the Bird Nerd Retreats for four nights at the beautiful Sedgeford Hall Estate. We’ll be exploring incredible birding and wildlife hotspots, mixed with plenty of downtime in the spa and sauna. It’s the perfect blend of photography, nature, and proper relaxation — and I cannot wait.

🐎 Wild Horse Side Quest

whilst im in Norfolk, there may also be a little side quest… I’m slightly obsessed with horses, so I’ll be sneaking off to search for wild ones during the retreat. And keep your eyes peeled — an even bigger horse‑themed adventure is coming in April next year.

 ✈️October 

🇲🇪 Montenegro

I’ll be heading to Montenegro in October with my friend, a country full of stunning mountains, lakes and coastal scenery. I’m hoping to create a brand‑new collection of limited edition prints and affordable downloadable posters while I’m there.

One of the highlights I’m aiming for is a day trip to Lake Skadar, home to over 260 bird species. Gorgeous mountains, mirror‑still water, and incredible wildlife… it sounds perfect, doesn’t it.
